Ronald "Ron" L. McFarlane, age 76 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Ron will take place on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1310 N Center St, Beaver Dam, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Colin Vanderhoof officiating.

Ron was born in Lodi on October 21, 1941, the son of Lester and Esther (Cutsforth) McFarlane and graduated from Fall River High School in 1959. On October 22, 1960 he was united in marriage to Judy Hendrickson in Doylestown. He worked as a line operator for John Deere for over 21 and a half years before eventually retiring from there. Bowling was something he enjoyed, as was watching the Packers and Brewers. After retiring, he enjoyed spending his winters in Arizona.

Ron is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy of Beaver Dam; children, Terri (Gary) Kelly of Waukesha, and Todd (Carol) McFarlane of Waukesha; grandchildren, Mariah and Marcus Kelly, and Amanda and Breann McFarlane; great-grandchild, Sofia; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Earl and Armilla Hendrickson, and other relatives.
