It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Guptill announces his passing on April 19, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on March 02, 1937, in Bangor, Maine and later made his home in Reeseville, WI where he lived a full and meaningful life. Ronald was a man of kindness, strength, and quiet wisdom. He had a passion for farming that started on his family farm in Maine.  He joined the Army at 18 and was sent to Korea to drive tanks.  In October 1958, he married Patsy Hubbard and started a family. Ron wore many different hats in life from pumping gas, mechanic, handyman, dog breeder, and police officer. Ron was often in the fields, bowling, fishing, or playing cards with his family. He was generous with his time and helped others with harvesting hay.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by daughter Carol (Timothy) Funck. Grandchildren Jessica (Mark) Othmer, Sarah Erickson, Nicholas (Kathi) Sawyer, Shelby Erickson and Dustin (Christine) Erickson. Also, eight great grandchildren, his sister Millie (Eugene) Wackett, and special friend, Charlotte Jaeger. He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Alice (Miescke) Guptill, his wife Patsy (Hubbard) Guptill, and brother and sisters Russell, Alvin, Richard, Eleanor, Clarence, Lester, Donna, Raymond, Jim, June, and infant sister Jane, and daughter Christine Sawyer.

A special thank you do SSM and Madison VA Hospice Care teams.
