Ross H. Kastein, 55, of Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison.




Ross was born May 23, 1960 in Waupun, the son of Roger W. and Catherine Broadway Kastein. Ross was a 1979 graduate of Waupun High School. On June 14, 1986 he married Gail Kikkert in Alto. Following their marriage the couple resided in the Beaver Dam area most of their married lives. Ross was employed at Herter’s in Beaver Dam, Briggs & Stratton, and Richelieu. Ross enjoyed any and all Wisconsin sports teams, including the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. Ross enjoyed being with family and friends. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam where he was a Deacon.

Ross is survived by his wife, Gail Kastein of Beaver Dam; four children: Zachary (Felicia) Kastein of Stevens Point, Erika Kastein of Ft. Myers, FL, Trevor Kastein of Beaver Dam, and Jeremy Kastein of Fond du Lac; a grandchild, Natashia Kitelinger; a step-grandson, Carson Reader-Klug; his mother, Catherine Kastein of Waupun; four brothers: Stuart (Carrie) Kastein of Fond du Lac, Bruce Kastein of Brandon, Philip Kastein of Beaver Dam, and Brent Kastein of Brandon; mother-in-law, Charlene Kikkert of Beaver Dam; four nephews; two nieces; and other relatives and friends.

Ross was preceded in death by his father, Roger W. Kastein and father-in-law, Elmer Kikkert.





Visitation:


Friends and relatives of Ross Kastein may call on the family on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.



Services:


Services for Ross Kastein will be held Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Alto Reformed Church with Gwen Loomans officiating.



Burial:


Burial will follow at Alto Cemetery.
