Roxanne J. Buss, age 61 of Juneau, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at U.W. Hospital in Madison.
Roxanne was born in Beaver Dam on March 23, 1952 to Herman and Betty (nee Rahn) Stange. She graduated from Dodgeland High School in 1970, and on March 7, 1980, she was united in marriage to Jeff Buss in Freedom, WI. Roxanne was a longtime employee of Clearview in Juneau. She also was the Ward 2 Alderperson on the City of Juneau Common Council, as well as the Juneau Utilities Commissioner. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage on the Juneau Club Grounds, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, taking care of her family and fishing with her grandson Brock.
Roxanne is survived by her husband, Jeff Buss; her son, Chad (Heather) Stange; grandson, Brock Stange, all of Juneau; her father, Herman Stange of Horicon; her siblings, Barbara (Paul) Henkel of Hampshire, IL, Glenn Stange of Alto, Dwight Stange of Juneau, Brian (Betsy) Stange of Horicon, Roger (Lori) Stange of Iron Ridge, Norine (Randy) Chouinard of Beaver Dam, Wayne (Traci) Stange of West Bend and her mother-in-law, Margie Buss of Reeseville. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Stange in 2012 and her father-in-law, Laverne Buss, along with other relatives.
A Funeral Service for Roxanne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 4 from 5-8 p.m. at Cornerstone and also prior to the service on Thursday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the service at Juneau City Cemetery, and a luncheon will follow back at Cornerstone.
