Roy Van Houten, age 89 of Waupun, passed away on December 16, 2018 and Clearview Long Term Care & Rehab in Juneau.

Roy was born on December 19, 1928 to Jacob and Anna (Bouwkamp) Van Houten in Alto.

Roy is survived by his oldest daughter, Angela Friesen of Rural Hall, NC, her four children and seven grandchildren; his son, Leroy Van Houten of Waupun; his youngest daughter, Penny Allen and her two sons Payne and Corbin of Hartford.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Anna; his older brother Clarence, and his lifelong love, Shirley Reyes.

A funeral service for Roy will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral and Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Cattaraugus Cemetery in Waupun.
