Russell W. Landsinger, age 74 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Russ was born September 12, 1937 to Wencil Landsinger and Rose (Nee Mislivechek) in Richland Center, WI. He attended grade school in Wonewoc, WI and moved to Waupun in 1952. On November 2, 1957 Russ married Dolores (nee Fischer). Russ was a long time employee of John Deere in Horicon where he worked in the paint department until his retirement in 1998.

Russ loved to farm and enjoyed the land that he and his wife cultivated. He enjoyed riding around on his tractors and his Gator on a daily basis. He loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandkids.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Dolores (nee Fischer); children, Deb (R.J.) Storm of Beaver Dam, Kim Kaiser (Kenny Bartz) of Lowell, Brian (Patty) Landsinger of Beaver Dam, Lisa (Gary) Zuelsdorf of Beaver Dam; brothers, William Bentz of Waupun, Dick (Elaine) Bentz of Waupun, Tony (Karen) Bentz of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Missy (Rick), Nathan, April, Josiah, Travis and Alison, many great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wencil and Rose and Edward Bentz and his brothers, Donald, Lester and Lee.

A Funeral Service for Russ will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mark Jensen officiating. A visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service at the funeral home. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens will take place immediately after the service and a luncheon will follow back at the funeral home.
