Ruth "Ruthie" Pamenter, age 88 of Markesan, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2022, at Markesan Barrett House.

A memorial gathering for Ruthie will take place on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Faith Lutheran Church, N1529 WI-73, Markesan from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Matthew Ude officiating.

Ruth was born in Fox Lake, September 24, 1933, the daughter of Ernest and Ida Mary (Schnieder) Zuberbuehler. On April 22, 1950, she was united in marriage to Lyndon Pamenter in Beaver Dam. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, neighbors, and even the mailman. Ruthie also worked as a clerk at Markesan Pharmacy for many years. Ruthie was proud of her faith as a lifelong and charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Markesan.

Ruth is survived by her children, Harry (Lois) Pamenter of Markesan, Dan (Chona) Pamenter of Appleton, Diane (Roy) Draheim of Markesan, and Scott (Tracy) Pamenter of Hortonville; grandchildren, Travis (Shelina) Pamenter, Jason (Alyssa) Pamenter, Andy (Jessica) Pamenter, Jeffrey (Wendy) Pamenter, Katie (Ryan) Barker, Pamela (Steve Rankin) Draheim, Ryan (Katie) Draheim, and Jaja, Joshua (Cassy), Jethro Medina; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Hilda Zuberbuehler; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyndon in 2009; sister, Viola Thurk; brothers, Albert Zuberbuehler and Ernest Zuberbuehler; and other relatives.

Memorials in Ruthie's name may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church. The family would also like to thank North Terrace Assisted Living staff and Barrett House staff for their compassionate care of Ruthie over the past several years.
