Sandy was born on July 27, 1954, the daughter of Stanley Edward and Jean Marie (nee Radel) Baszynski. She attended Waupun High School. Sandy was a longtime, devoted employee of Kwik Trip in Beaver Dam and Fox Lake. She will always be remembered for the friendships she made with the customers.

Sandy will be sadly missed by her daughter, Julie (Corey) Bauer of Lomira; one sister, Sue (Tom) Cornford of Randolph; two brothers, Larry (Sylvia) Baszynski of Fox Lake and Mike (Joanne) Engel of Mayville; her longtime partner, Bob Weissmann of Columbus; three granddaughters, Jewel, Paige and Zoey and her beloved animals, Sadie, Bud and the kitties. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother on May 2, 1977, her father on September 27, 1977, her sister, Judy, on January 26, 2000 and a nephew, Brian, on April 1, 1980.

A Memorial Service for Sandy will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam with Fr. Michael Petersen officiating. A Memorial Gathering will take place prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m. Please join the family to share in a day of remembrance in honor of Sandy.
