Sandra Pollesch

Sandra L Pollesch, 63, of Waupun, formerly of Kingston, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 surrounded by her family and closest friend. 

Sandra was born on June 1, 1961 in Freedom, WI, the daughter of Elbert and Elaine Woodman Stein. On August 20, 1983 she married the love of her life, James Pollesch in Beaver Dam. Sandy shared many mornings and cups of coffee with locals in the course of her time working at the Wayside Restaurant. Sandy loved baking, puzzles of all sorts, gardening, spoiling her grandchildren, and especially loved time spent with family. 

Sandy is survived by her children: Jennifer (John) Thurk, Brittany (Matthew) Fisher, and Joshua Pollesch, her siblings: Eugene (Terri) Stein, Raymond (Carla) Stein, Stephen (Dixie) Stein, Dennis (Julie) Stein, and Judy (Melvin) Yohn; four grandchildren: Calleigh, Isaiah Thurk, Carson, and Ariya Fisher; best friend, Brenda Beekman; and is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents; and her grandson, Bryce Fisher.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 3-5 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at Kingston Village Cemetery in Kingston, WI at a later date.

Sandra's family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital staff, especially the nursing staff for their compassion not only to Sandy but to her family and for the excellent level of care they provided.
