IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott R.
Marwitz
May 19, 1962 – September 11, 2021
On September 11, 2021, Scott R. Marwitz suddenly passed in the presence of friends and loved ones after not feeling well for a couple of days.
A visitation for Scott is planned for Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Markesan Community Center for all to celebrate the life and love of Scott R. Marwitz.
Scott was born in Waupun, WI on May 19, 1962. Growing up as a Waupun Warrior, he wrestled and got into a lot of hijinks with friends. Working through college at UPS to earn his bachelor's degree in business and gaining some nicknames along the way like "L. A. Marwitz", he met the mother of his two children. In his free time, he loved going fishing, hunting, helping people, and spending time with his family. At the end of the 90's, Scott found his long-term love and expanded his family once again. More recently he enjoyed spending his time being a grandpa and being a kid again, not that he ever really grew up.
Scott is survived by his mother, Donna Marwitz; siblings, Glen Marwitz, Kristin Marwitz, and Sonia Robinson; his biological daughters, Danielle Paulick and Carly Marwitz; ex-wife, Dawn Marwitz; grandchildren, Wyatt (9) and Gabriel Paulick (5 months); his girlfriend of 22 years, Laura Forbes; non-biological daughters, Jessica Forbes and Nicole Ruiz; and their children Jayden Forbes (13), Alexander (9), Oliver (7) and Isabel Ruiz (4); and countless extended family and found family members.
Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Markesan is honored to be serving the family.
