Sierra Leone Frisch, age 47 of Stoughton, was brought into the arms of the Lord on September 11, 2021.

A memorial gathering for Sierra Leone will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m.

Sierra Leone was born in Portage on September 14, 1973, the daughter of Sharon (Poster) and Thomas M. Frisch Sr. She was a 1991 graduate of Beaver Dam High School and attended Edgewood College in Madison, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Sierra worked as an unemployment claims specialist for the Department of Workforce Development for many years. She was a born-again Christian, and was known for her love of animals, especially her cat, Callie Love Frisch. She enjoyed a good book or film, music, and appreciated a cup of coffee or tea.

Sierra is survived by her mother, Sharon Frisch of Beaver Dam; brother, Thomas Frisch Jr., of Beaver Dam; maternal grandmother, Barbara Poster of Strum; and further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Frisch Sr., paternal grandparents, Thomas J. and Grace M. Frisch; maternal grandfather, Lewis H. Poster; aunt, Jacqueline Robbins; uncle, James Frisch; and other relatives.

If desired, memorials in Sierra's name may be directed to the Dane County Humane Society, the Henry Vilas Zoo, or the International Bird Rescue.
