Sophie A. Tonn, age 98 of Markesan, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Barrett House in Markesan.

Sophie Anderson was born on July 31, 1918 in Buffalo, ND. She was the youngest daughter of Carl and Anna (Grondahl) Anderson. In 1938, she was married to Millan Tonn, who preceded her in death. Survivors include nieces and nephews.

In honoring Sophie's wishes, private family inurnment will take place at Markesan Memorial Cemetery.
