Stanley P. Schiereck, age 75 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

A memorial gathering will take place on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun at a later date.

Stanley was born in Fond du Lac on April 30, 1943, the son of Arthur and Margaret (Rens) Schiereck. He graduated from Waupun High School in 1961. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam War.  On August 29, 1965, he married Sandra Hoekstra in Waupun. Following graduation from UW Oshkosh, he worked as a CPA for Parent Dott in Beaver Dam for many years. Extremely giving of his time, Stanley was involved in several charitable organizations. Gambling trips and travel were things he enjoyed greatly, and he proudly cherished his family.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra Schiereck of Beaver Dam; his children, Stacie Schiereck of Sun Prairie, Stephen Schiereck of Beaver Dam, and Sara (Dustin) Binning of Waupaca; grandchildren, Shannon and Samantha Schiereck, and Brayden Binning; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Renford Schiereck; sister, Linda Draeger Marshall; and other relatives.
