Stephan "Steve" Charles Herzler, age 69 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Froedert Hospital.

Steve was born in Berwin, IL, on March 22, 1954, the son of Ralph and Jane (Creighton) Herzler. He graduated from high school in Sturgis, MI before attending UW-Stevens Point, where he obtained his master's degree in Audiology. On March 2, 1985, he was united in marriage to his wife, Ann E. Malinsky in the family room of her parents' home in Northbrook, IL. In his free time, he loved to fish and was a pretty good cook. In his younger years he enjoyed flying control line airplanes and was a HAM radio operator.He also enjoyed collecting things; if one was good, then 6 must be better! Steve cherished the pets he had over the years, both cats and dogs.

Steve is survived by his wife, Ann Malinsky; daughter, Kathleen E. Herzler; siblings, Ralph "Pete" (Mary) Herzler; John (Ruth) Herzler, Samantha Brennaman; brother-in-law, Doug (Mary) Malinsky; sister-in-law, Susan Malinsky; and further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann Croisant; nieces, Rabecca Herzler and Jessica Eilen; and other relatives.

In honoring his wishes, no services will be held.
