Steven Bentz age 33, of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 17, 2008 and has now found peace in his heavenly home. Steven was born on March 9, 1975 in Beaver Dam to Royce and Kathleen (nee Burg) Bentz. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1993, and on August 15, 2001 he was united in marriage to Cassandra Goeller. For almost the past 9 years, he was employed at John Deere in Horicon.

Steven had a true passion for cars, especially his Camaros, which he was the proud owner of a 1968, 1979, 1989 and 2002. Much of his time during the summer was spent going to car shows and has received several trophies at numerous shows. His talents also included fixing things around the house and remodeling. He had a unique vision to look at something, be creative and find a way to accomplish the task. Because he was so crafty and handy, family and friends would often call Steven for help on projects and he was always willing to drop anything he was doing to help others. He and Cassandra enjoyed their annual snowmobile trips to Northern Wisconsin and in his spare time he was an avid fan of the television show The Simpson's. Steven will always be remembered as a comedian and a jokester. His family and friends brought him a lot of joy and his kind heart he will be deeply missed.
