Steven E. Krecklow 56, beloved son of Thomas G. Sr. and the late Karen L. (Olson) Krecklow, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

A memorial gathering for Steve will take place on Friday, April 19 at Edgewood Community Church, 1209 West Circle Drive, Beaver from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Kyle Witek. A light lunch will follow the service.

Steve graduated cum laude from Manistique High School, Manistique, Michigan. His intelligence and creativity earned him a scholarship to Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota to study art. His path led him to Horicon where he was a loyal employee of Kwik Trip for the past 31 years.

Steve is also survived by his sister, Liane (Gerald) Heinritz and brother, Thomas Jr. (Lynda) Krecklow, uncles, aunts and cousins. He had many nieces and nephews and introduced his love of sci-fi and fantasy movies to them. He will always be remembered as the cool uncle.

Steve was a kind and gentle soul and had a heart of compassion for any animal in need and often nursed sick kittens he found back to health. He will be greatly missed by his cat, Max, and dog, Hannah.
