Steven Fredrick Gursky Sr, born in Chicago, December 23, 1957 to Donald and Shirley Gursky, entered into eternal rest on Saturday July 6, 2024 surrounded by his family at home in Manchester WI.

He was a legendary talent in the local automotive community earning multiple Team Demolition Championships through out his lifetime where he was known as the "Pit Boss" around Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL. He loved his family, fishing the Chetek Chain of Lakes and enjoyed listening to classic rock while working on his many projects.

Steve leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Barbara Ann Gursky. He was a loving father to Chris (Rhonda) McGuire, Jen McGuire and Steven (Molly) Gursky Jr. He is survived by his siblings Larry (Carrie), Bob (Andrea), Kathy (Larry), Don (Patty), and Chris (Gail) Gursky as well as his father in-law and friend Earl Franklin Sr. He will be missed by his grandchildren Christy, Robbie, Ocean, Trinity, Ainslee, Kiera, Hannah, James, Hunter, Rowan, AJ and Cora and his great grandchildren Kylie, Amelia, Thea and Zayne.

There will be a celebration of life Sept 14, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Senior Center in Manchester WI. Condolences may be directed to W3316
