Steven James Peters, age 56 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at home.

A graveside service for Steve will take place on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Steve was born in Beaver Dam on May 15, 1966, the son of Dale S. and Bettie (Binder) Peters. An avid outdoorsman, he could often be found fishing and hunting, as well as bird and squirrel watching. He also loved attending car shows all over the state. Steve enjoyed watching and cheering on the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.

Steve is survived by his mother, Bettie (Edward Surprise) Mallon; siblings, Kim Peters, Mark (Michele) Kreuziger, and Deborah (Ed) De Clue; step-siblings, Jeff (Kathy) Mallon and Jodie (Ray) Clavey; cousin and caregiver, Brenda Ray; uncles, Rodney Binder and Lester (Judy) Binder; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale S. Peters; step-father, Joseph Mallon; and other relatives.
