Susan Gustin

Susan Ann Gustin, age 66, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

Susan was born March 20, 1960 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert and Helen Westervelde. Susan lived in Brandon her entire life, where she was deeply involved in the community and known for her kindness, generosity, and hospitality. Many fondly referred to her as the “pizza girl” or the “extra ice cream scooper,” a reflection of the warmth and care she shared with those around her. Susan took pride in cleaning the library and village hall, being the longest village employee. She enjoyed crafting and teaching Sunday school.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Nicole Gustin and her fiancé, Ken Bruno; Nicole's three children: Kitana Gustin, and Caden and Arianna Demarco; her brother, Gary Westervelde and his family; and her sister, Mary’s nieces.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Mary.

Per the family's request, no services will be held.
