She was born on March 5, 1951, the daughter of Marvin and Hazel (nee Hunger) Fox. Sue graduated from Lowell-Reeseville High School and was employed by American Family Insurance in Madison for 12 years before retiring to raise her family. In recent years, before her illness, she worked as a teacher's assistant in the Beaver Dam School District. Sue always liked to look her best whether she was just shopping, attending her children's activities, or bowling or golfing with the girls. Sue had a passion for reading and tending to her flowers. She made friends easily and enjoyed socializing with them.

Sue is survived by her husband of 40 years, David; children Joshua (Kim) Neuberger of Denton, Texas, and Alyson (fiancée Jason Vaaler) Neuberger, Milwaukee; one granddaughter, Avery; sisters-in-law, Suzzette (Dr. Rick) Renwick, Jeanette (Randy) Lange, Christine (LeRoy) Kirchberg, Michelle Neuberger, and Annette (Dr. David) Ringdahl. She is further survived by nephews, nieces, two aunts, other relatives and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas Fox and other relatives.

A Memorial Service for Sue will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam. A Memorial Gathering will be held prior to the Service at the funeral home, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will take place after the service at the funeral home.

Sue's family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Beaver Dam Community Hospital's out-patient unit, who became like family to us over the past two and one-half years, and to the nurses and staff from Hillside Hospice and Home Care. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Charles Frinak for his exceptional care and concern for Sue's well-being and comfort throughout her illness.
