Obituary

Susan "Sue" L. Rasske, age 63 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at UW-Hospital in Madison.

Sue was born on February 12, 1949 in Slinger, WI to Henry "Hank" Haag and Dorothy (nee Kratz) Haag. She was united in marriage to Lynn Rasske on December 23, 1982 in Fond du Lac, WI. She was the co-owner of Rasske Appliance in Beaver Dam and also worked for the City of Beaver Dam's Finance Department for 20 years.

Sue loved the holidays, especially all of the decorating and entertaining that came along with each of them. She enjoyed shopping and attending craft fairs with her daughters and going to The Fireside Dinner Theater. Sue loved to keep her home well-decorated, and she was always known to have matching tableware for every event. Sue was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan, and she also enjoyed trying her luck with scratch-off lottery tickets. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Las Vegas, Reno and visiting family in Florida. She loved to dance and had a wonderful sense of humor, even through the hardest of times. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. She always wanted to be sure everyone knew just how much she loved them, so she was sure there was never a shortage of hugs and kisses! While Sue may have been small in stature, she was very large at heart!

Sue is survived by her husband, Lynn of Beaver Dam; her daughters, Christine (fiancé Michael Bubolz) Milbrath of Beaver Dam and Cathy (Kevin) Laufenberg of Fredonia, WI; her step-sons, Mark (Trish) Rasske of Everett, WA and Adam (Oksana) Rasske of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Stephanie (fiancé Chad), Danielle, Drayden, McKenna, Cory, Riley, Zoe, Eli and Vladislav; and her brothers, Dave (Linda) Haag of Florida, Bill (Darlene) Haag of Ohio and Bob (Jean) Haag of Milwaukee. She is further survived by two brothers-in-law, John Beaudoin of Florida and Norman (Nola) Rasske of Ripon; three sisters-in-law, Naomi Carley of Ripon, Rosie Jess of Ripon and Gloria (Robert) Kelm of Markesan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Cindy Milbrath, her son, Chuck Milbrath, her identical twin sister, Sandee Beaudoin and other relatives.
