Obituary

Terril James Froehlich went to be with the angels on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at home with family after many years of illness.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Terril's life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Terril was born in Wisconsin Rapids on April 4, 1948 to Richard and Ivadelle (Beggs) Froehlich. He attended Tri-County School in Plainfield, graduating in 1966. He attended WSU-Stevens Point where he met and married his wife, Linda Agnew on June 1, 1968. He attended Moraine Park Technical College and put the welding skills he learned to work at Speed Queen in Wautoma, Oshkosh Heater Company in Princeton and Hughes Company in Columbus for 17 years. After health-altering circumstances, he earned a degree in microcomputer applications analysis and a degree in accounting from Fox Valley Technical College, as well as a degree in operations management from Marion College. He worked as an accountant for Jellystone Resort in Freemont and later for Berlin Oil. Sadly, due to health issues, he had to retire in 2006. Terril enjoyed gaming, anything computer-driven, including machine embroidery. He built bird houses, got a dog, motorcycle and later a scooter. His time was often consumed with reading books, including numerous titles on his Kindle. He belonged to the Business Professionals of America and was known as "Shadow Jack" in the CB Radio Club.

Terril is survived by his wife of close to 49 years, Linda; his son, Jon of Berlin; his daughter, Annette Griffin of Dalton; his son, Charles (Kim) of Columbus, NE; granddaughter, Kella (Benjamin) Anderson; grandson, Logan Griffin; great-granddaughter, Kylee Anderson; sister, Dianna Helmrich of Friendship; brothers, Russell (Nancy) of Russellville, AR and William (Bernadette) of New London and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Harriet and Sylvester Agnew, nephew Richard Helmrich and brother-in-law, Dennis Enders.

The family would like to extend many thanks for all the care he received at Aurora and Markesan Resident Home.
