Terence "Terry" Neuman, age 61 of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at his home.
Terry was born on Sept. 5, 1946 in Beaver Dam to LeRoy and Marilyn (nee Kroll) Neuman. He was first married to Mary Ann Mlodzik on October 22, 1966 in Beaver Dam and later to Julie Wethal on July 5, 1990 in Juneau. Terry was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and worked for the Dodge County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff and later as a detective. He also served his country in the United States Air Force and later served in the Army Reserves for over 20 years. He was a member of Praise Assembly of God Church in Beaver Dam, National Rifle Association, Single Action Shooting Society, ABATE and the Blue Knights of Wisconsin-Chapter 2. Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cribbage, family cookouts and especially spending time with his family. He had an avid love for reading about the history of the Old West, watching western movies and riding motorcycle.
Terry is survived by his mother Marilyn Neuman of Beaver Dam, his wife, Julie Neuman of Beaver Dam; his children: Wes (Tracey) Neuman of Sun Prairie, Mark Neuman of Minneapolis and Jessica Neuman of Hustisford; step-children: Misty Schmidt of Beaver Dam, Scott Stephens of Wisconsin Rapids and Nathan (Jackie) Stephens of Fall River; two grandchildren: Kaitlynn and Kelsey Neuman; eight step-grandchildren and one step-great grandson; three sisters: Pat (John) Kluz of Beaver Dam, Connie (Greg) Knapp of Pardeville, and Laurie (Jim) Coughlin of Mayville; and 1 brother: Jim (Deb) Neuman of Middleton. Terry is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A Memorial Service for Terry will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at six o'clock p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Boulevard in Beaver Dam with Rev. Randy Carey officiating. Visitation will also be held on Friday at the funeral home from four o'clock p.m. until the time of service at six o'clock p.m. Military Honors will be provided by John E. Miller American Legion Post#146 of Beaver Dam following the Memorial Service. A luncheon will immediately follow at the funeral home.
