Thomas H. Godsell of Juneau, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam at the age of 91.

Tom was born on August 16, 1933, the oldest child of Thomas J. and Theresa (Nebl) Godsell and was raised on their farm between Juneau and Clyman with his four younger siblings.

He attended Juneau High School and was a mechanic and master welder before retiring. Tom made an adventurous move to Southern California around 1960 when that state was growing rapidly. He mastered his trade there and eventually moved back to Wisconsin in 1973 where he later worked at Apache Steel in Beaver Dam and Trek Bike in Waterloo. He enjoyed living his later years on the farm where he was raised. He enjoyed many things through the years, including hunting up north on his property there with family, racing Volkswagen Bugs with his brother Bob, tending a garden on the farm full of hot peppers, and many enjoyable trips to Las Vegas with Gloria and their friends. He will be remembered for being a good husband, a dedicated son, a caring big brother, a loyal friend and companion, and someone who always had a smile or a good joke for his family and friends, including his many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Godsell (nee Kolb); his parents; his sisters, Margaret (John) Fritsche, and Jeanne (Donald) Hecht. He is survived by his companion and close friend of many years, Doris Berger; his sister, Kathleen (Howard) Buss; his brother, Robert (Nancy) Godsell with whom he enjoyed an especially close relationship; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
