Thomas "Big Tom" Mathew Frisch, Sr., age 61 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at home.

Tom was born on April 22, 1952 in Madison, WI to Thomas J. and Grace M. (nee Hessler) Frisch. On February 12, 1972, he was united in marriage to Sharon Poster in Madison, WI. He worked for over 20 years as a Correctional Officer at Waupun Correctional Facility.
Tom's greatest joy in life was his family. He was the core of his family and enjoyed getting everyone together for family gatherings, where he could always be counted on to take care of the fireworks. He was a great cook and enjoyed using his handyman talents to build just about anything he needed. Tom was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He loved the Green Bay Packers and watching NASCAR races. He will always be remembered for his love of life, his family and his cats.

Tom is survived by loving wife Sharon of Beaver Dam; his children, Thomas Frisch Jr. of Beaver Dam, Sierra Frisch of Stoughton; his beloved Willie and Penny; a brother James (Vickie) Frisch of Birchwood, WI and his mother-in-law Barbara Poster of Rock Springs, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Jacqueline Robbins, his father-in-law, Lewis H. Poster and other relatives.

A Memorial Service for Tom will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam. Visitation will take place prior to the service at Cornerstone, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
