Timothy H. Jahnke, age 71 of Markesan, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Timothy was born on March 1, 1954, the son of Guenther "Jake" and Winifred "Winnie" (Doggett) Jahnke. He was united in marriage to his wife, the love of his life, Deborah Laper. Tim was a great mechanic and built NASCAR engines. He also enjoyed farming, canning, and gardening, and loved to enjoy a good meal.

Tim is survived by his children, James Jahnke, Jill Rickerman, Adam James "AJ" Jahnke, and Charles "Charlie" (Ariel) Jahnke; grandchildren, Jake, Harley, McKenzie, Lillian, Keenly, Jax, Kaley, and Yuna; siblings, Dave (Donna King) Jahnke, Winifred Jahnke, and Andrew (Deborah) Jahnke; special friend, Lacy McBriar; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

After 50 years, Tim will be reunited with his beloved wife, Deborah Jahnke. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Guenther "Jake" and Winifred "Winnie" Jahnke; brother, Nathan Jahnke; grandson, Dusty Jahnke; and other relatives.

Per Tim's wishes, a private family graveside service will be held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
