Timothy "Tim" A. Posthuma, age 59 of Reeseville, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 29, 2016.

A memorial gathering for Tim will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. Private family inurnment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park, Fox Lake.

Tim was born on May 3, 1957 in Waupun, the son of Fred and Melda (Bushke) Posthuma. He graduated from Waupun High School in 1976 and formerly worked for Robert Quade Construction of Fox Lake. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching sports, especially the Packers and Brewers. In his free time, he liked to go hunting and ice fishing. He was a former member of the NRA.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Ken) Anderson and Amanda (John) Hammen, both of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Hannah Anderson, Damian Posthuma, Addison Posthuma, Johnny Hammen, Preston Hammen; his sisters, Debbie (Howard) Bednarek of Princeton, Susie (Dave) Laatsch of Apple Valley, MN, Sandra (Michael Hooker) Zydzik of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; other relatives and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael and Daniel Posthuma; grandparents and other relatives.
