Tracy Smits, age 46 passed away unexpectedly June 21, 2017 at UW Hospital in Madison. Tracy was born on February 9, 1971 in Shawano, WI to Robert and Jean (Koelbl) Hanson. She was baptized at St. Rose Church in Clintonville, confirmed at St. Michael’s church in Beaver Dam, and was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School. On July 15, 1993 Tracy married Todd Smits and they made their home in Randolph. Tracy worked for many years at Schumann Printers in Fall River, American Packaging Corp. in Columbus, and G & G Screen Printing in Beaver Dam before starting T & T Pools, T & T Screen Printing, and Mugshotz Sports Bar & Grill in Randolph along side her husband Todd. Tracy loved camping, especially at Country Fest in Cadot, WI, hunting, motorcycle riding, boating, and going on tropical vacations spending the last few years in Key West, FL. Tracy was an avid dart league player attending several state tournaments and formed many life long friendships in the process. Tracy was a fun loving, outgoing, and very giving person even setting up several benefits to help support people in the area communities. Tracy is survived by her son Dustin Smits (Whitney Schickert); mother Jean (Denny) Burch; brother Bob (Sara) Hanson and their son Hayden; mother-in-law Cheryl Smits; brother-in-law Troy (Christa) Smits and their children Ashtyn, Carter, and Taryn, and special friend Justin Boomsma Tracy is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends and business colleagues. Tracy was preceded in death by her husband Todd, father Robert Hanson, father-in-law Alvin Smits, and an uncle Greg (Shorty) Aschenbrenner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Friesland Reformed Church in Friesland with Rev. Rob Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Salemville Cemetery, Town of Manchester, Green Lake County. Relatives and friends may call on the family on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at the Friesland Reformed Church Family Center and also on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service at the church.
