Vernon F. Franke, age 86, of Juneau, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Vernon was born on September 29, 1939, in Horicon, Wisconsin, the son of Arnold C.  and Mabel L. (Fink) Franke. He graduated from Horicon High School in 1957 and spent 30 years employed with John Deere. On February 10, 1988, he was united in marriage to his wife, Jean M. Miller in Las Vegas. In his free time, Vernon enjoyed playing sheepshead and going fishing.

Vernon is survived by his his wife, Jean; his children, James (Jodie) Franke and Lisa (Mark) Woock; and his step-sons, David Miller and Michael (Cheryl) Miller; grandchildren, Brandon, Kayliegh, Dustin (Rebeccа),  and Danyelle; step-grandchildren, Amanda, and Brant; great-grandchildren, Conner, Owen, and Jayden; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, 6 sisters, and another brother in infancy along with other relatives.

A memorial gathering for Vernon will take place on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
