Violet May Hartman, 87, a resident of the Markesan Resident Home, formerly of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, died Friday, March 8, 2013.
Violet was born July 15, 1925 in Ripon the daughter of John and Anna Blackburn Lawson. Violet was a member of United Methodist Church in Evening Shade, Arkansas for 20 years and most recently a member of United Methodist Church in Brandon.
Violet is survived by her son, John (Helen) Klosterman of Brandon; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her former husbands, Elmer Klosterman, Carroll “Curly” Pinkerton, and Richard Hartman; and a grandchild, Chad Kind.

Friends and relatives of Violet Hartman may call on the family at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Violet Hartman will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Laura Yates and Rev. Arica Leonard officiating.
