Virginia C. McKee, age 71 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 24, 2023.

A memorial gathering for Virginia will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

Virginia was born on July 11, 1952, the daughter of Marvin and Anna (Evers) Pahl and grew up on the family farm in the Randolph and Cambria area. She was united in marriage to her husband, Allan McKee on July 8, 1972. Virginia worked as a respiratory therapist for over 30 years at Beaver Dam Community Hospital, a career of which she was very proud and committed. Her faith was quite important to her, and she greatly looked forward to her weekly Bible study, which she led at the independent senior apartments where she resided. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards and cheering on the Packers, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. A kind, caring soul, she had a huge heart and was accepting of everybody; she was very supportive of others opinions and never judged them. Her biggest priority was to follow God's Word and help others.

Virginia is survived by her children, Tenecia (Tony), Heather (Dan) Paul, and Sara McKee; grandchildren, Matt, Jacob, Jayden, Graycee, and Axle; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Elijah; special family friend, Tina Breselow; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allan McKee; brother, Stan Pahl; special aunt, Kate; and other relatives.
