Virginia Ann Holman, age 85, of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.
Virginia was born on January 18, 1923 in Crookston, Minnesota to Henry and Albertine (nee Menard) Fontaine. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Crookston and later attended Hibbing Junior College in Minnesota. In 1957, she married Willard Holman in Nevada.
Virginia is survived by her sisters: Beatrice (Linus) Mercil of Baton Rouge, LA, Pauline Keohen of Shoreview, Minnesota, Claire (Donald) Kustritz of South St. Paul, Minnesota and Monica (Charles) Boschert of Beaver Dam. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Willard and a brother Laurence Fontaine.
A Funeral Service for Virginia will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 6:00p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam with Fr. Carlos Florez officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday at Cornerstone from 5:00p.m. until the time of Service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam with a luncheon to follow at Cornerstone. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or for Masses.
