Virginia Koski

Virginia "Ginny" Koski, age 84 of Waupun, formerly of St. Nazianz and Racine, WI passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Bay Harbor Memory Care and Assisted Living.

Ginny was born on January 24, 1942, in Racine, to Fred and Lois Willetts. She graduated Class of 1960 from Washington Park High School in Racine, WI.

She was united in marriage to her husband, Ronald Koski on February 1, 1961, at Atonement Lutheran Church in Racine, Wi

Ginny worked for Best Way Flooring Center in Racine as office manager until her retirement in 2000, which then brought them to St. Nazianz to be near her grandchildren as she enjoyed spending time with her family above all else.

Ginny and her Husband Ron were inseparable, every activity, event, and vacations were spent together making beautiful memories. She loved to be active; bowling, tennis, dancing and especially fishing. She would join Ron on hunting trips as well just to be with him.

Ginny loved socializing and building friendships. It would not be an exaggeration to say she made hundreds of friends over the years, many of which are now considered part of the family. If she heard of someone that would be alone during the Holidays they were immediately invited to her home and she wouldn't take no for an answer.

Ginny is survived by her daughter, Tina (George D.) Katze; her son, Ric Koski; two grandchildren, Mallory Presto (Brandon. Julka) and Jason (Nicole) Presto; four great-grandchildren, Dresden 13, Zoe 10 Ava 8, and Charlotte 3; two brothers, Kent (Andrea) Willetts and Scott (Karolyn Gande) Willetts; and further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death her husband, Ronald; her granddaughter, Savannah Kleinhans; her brothers, Fred Willetts and Christopher Willetts; and her sister, Suzanne Jenkins; and other relatives.

Ginny's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bay Harbor memory care in Beaver Dam for giving Virginia such attentive and loving care the past two years. They also wish to thank Misty Meadows, Lisa Kaufmann, Kathy Smith and Tina Hopp for proving her with tender loving care during her years at home as she fought this battle with Alzheimer's. It was obvious through her actions and responses to each and every one of you that you were deeply loved and appreciated.


Visitation for Ginny will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Gwen Loomans officiating. Family and friends are also invited to join for the graveside
service on Saturday, August 15, Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, 6211 38th St., Kenosha at 2:00 p.m. with the Pastor Dave Bach officiating.
