Warren L. Paul, age 80 of Beaver Dam, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam surrounded by family.
Visitation for Warren will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, 300 West St., Beaver Dam from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon at Cornerstone.
Warren was born on February 25, 1938 in Portage, the son of Carl & June (Baker) Paul. He graduated from Horicon High School in 1956. On January 31, 1959, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Maslowski, who entered into eternal life on June 25, 2008. On October 24, 2009 he married Jeanette (Beske) Yagodinski.
Warren retired after 30 years of service with the City of Beaver Dam Public Works Dept. He also worked 10 years at Kraft Foods and part-time hauling milk. Warren enjoyed bowling, polka dancing, fishing, deer hunting, playing sheepshead and Euchre. He loved camping at Lake Puckaway and spending winters in Florida. He was a member of St. Stephens Ev. Lutheran Church of Beaver Dam.
Warren is survived by his wife, Jeanette; children, Robert (Nancy Holtz), Dawn (Robert) Locy, Janet (Alberto) Alicea, and Scott (Karen); grandchildren, Nicole (Eric) Gruenewald, Vanessa Paul (Mike Brown) and Nathaniel Paul; great-grandchildren, Vaidah, Julian, and Greyson; siblings, Carol (Jim) Parrish, Donna (Jerry) Priewe and Randall (Charlotte) Paul; sisters-in-law, Sharon Greenfield and Donna Beske; and brother-in-law, Gerhardt (Carol) Beske. He is also survived by stepchildren, Dan (Penny) Yagodinski, Sue (Mike) Heathman, Lisa Yagodinski and Dean (Becky) Yagodinski, along with 10 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandsons, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in eternal life by his parents; his first wife, Mary; and brothers-in-law, Rueben Greenfield and Clarence "Butch" Beske.
The family would like to thank everyone here whom celebrated his life and for the special care by the staff at the Hillside Manor!
