Wilfred "Willie" E. Freund Jr., age 51 of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Juneau. Willie was born on March 2, 1959 on a farm near Waterloo to Wilfred and Florence (nee Duffy) Freund Sr. He graduated from Horicon High School in 1978 and worked at several places around the area. Willie enjoyed deer and duck hunting, bike riding, working out at the Y.M.C.A. and spending time on the Horicon Marsh. He had a special passion for photography and took many of his photos while on the Horicon Marsh. Willie was a devoted son and always enjoyed going out for shrimp on Friday nights at Walkers with his dad. He often attended worship at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam.

Willie is survived by brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and his extended "family" at Clearview in Juneau.

He is preceded in death by his mother in 1982, his father in December of 2009 and other relatives.

A Memorial Service for Willie will take place on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the Clearview North Chapel, 198 Home Rd. in Juneau with Deacon Willis Heideman officiating. A luncheon will follow the memorial service at Clearview.
