William Bentz

William Robert Bentz, 71, of Waupun died suddenly on Friday, March 9th, 2018 at his Florida residence.

Bill was born October 9th, 1946 in Waupun, WI the son of Edward and Rose Bentz. Bill attended school in Waupun, WI. Bill worked at various factories in Waupun and retired from Sensient Flavors of Juneau in 2015. In his spare time he could be found helping his brother Dick at Bentz Shell or cruising on his motorcycle. He loved the Chicago Bears, Elvis, his motorcycle, spending time with his grandkids and being able to winter in Florida.

Bill is survived by two brothers: Dick (Elaine) Bentz of Waupun, WI and Tony (Karen) Bentz of Beaver Dam, WI; Sister-in-law Delores Landsinger of Beaver Dam, WI; Three daughters: Rhonda (Jeff) Pluim of Waupun, WI, Sarah Bentz of Beaver Dam, WI and Nora Bentz of Waupun WI; Two sons: Bill (Margie) Bentz of Hartford, WI and Kurt Bentz of Brandon, WI; Six grandchildren: Cassidy Pluim, Carter Bentz, Jacob Bentz, Oliver Bentz, Paityn Schlichting and Westyn Schoenwetter.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Lester Bentz, Lee Bentz and Russell Landsinger.



A memorial gathering for Bill Bentz will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home Event Center in Waupun.
