William "Bill" Buckingham of Burnett, Wisconsin, passed away surrounded by family, on July 17, 2021 at the age of 73.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Bill at Cornerstone Funeral Services in Beaver Dam, WI on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., with a service to follow.

Bill was born on October 15, 1947 in Wilmington, Delaware.  He was married to Linda Wright from January 4, 1967 until her passing in 1985.  He was blessed with three daughters, Dawn (Dave), Tina (Keith), and Tammy.

Bill served in the United States Army from 1967-1969.  He moved to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1978.  Bill was very crafty and owned Buckingham Palace Ceramics shop in Beaver Dam for several years.  He was also employed at John Deere for 27 years.  There wasn't anything Bill could not fix or engineer to his liking, both on the job and at home.

On February 20, 2005, Bill married Therese Dretske.  He gained three new children Denise (Ricky), Jesse (Dionne), and Clint (Andrea).  Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandkids Tyler (Tiffany), Brandyn, Taylor (Mike), TJ, Abbey, Aubrey, Alex, Hudson, Maya, Harper, and Mollie and his five great-grandkids Jack, Billy, Henley, Nolan, and Jonah.

Bill was passionate about his family and friends, love of animals, traveling, and camping.  Bill will fondly be remembered for his extensive Easter egg hunts, go cart rides, crossbow shooting competitions, playing board games at the kitchen table, and making special memories with each grandchild.  His kind heart and generous nature will be missed.

By now Bill should be at the end of the Rainbow Bridge.  We are certain he was greeted with love and affection from all of the four-legged friends that went before him.  Free of pain. Loved, Missed, Blessed.
