Wyman Morris Peterson, age 93, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Mesa, AZ, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Charleston House in Beaver Dam.
Wyman was born on October 7, 1932, in Minnesota, the son of Carey and Anna (Jepesen) Peterson. He was united in marriage to his wife, Hazel. Wyman made his living early on as a train conductor, as well as installing flooring and flipping houses. He also worked as a general manager for the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix for many years and spent much of his life in Arizona, even helping to build a Lutheran church there where he was a member. Wyman enjoyed playing cards and dominos, and cherished time spent dancing with Hazel. He took pride in his lime and lemon trees, as well as his rose bushes. Wyman enjoyed helping others and was always willing to lend a hand to friends, family, and neighbors in need.. As a true family man, he took great care of Hazel when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda (Raleigh) Loerch; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Hazel; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and other relatives.
