Yvette Lee Mantei, age 55 of Juneau, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Yvette was born on May 28, 1960 in Trinidad, CO, the daughter of Earnest L. and Lola J. (Gonzales) Long. On December 24, 1984, she was united in marriage to Phil C. Mantei in Colorado Springs, CO. She worked at Principal Financial Group for 10 years. Yvette's top priority in life was her family. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, playing basketball and being outdoors, especially when she could be fishing with her family. Yvette was very good at trivia and spent most of her life with a smile on her face. She loved laughing and will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her family.

Yvette is survived by her husband, Phil Mantei of Juneau; her son, Philip Mantei Jr., of Juneau; her grandbaby, Jolina Miron; her mother, Lola of Colorado Springs, CO; her sisters, Diana (Robert) Knutson of Juneau, Tenill Young of Colorado Springs, CO; her niece, Tamsyn Knutson; and further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial gathering for Yvette will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jeffery Nicholas will officiate.
