[highlight_text]1927-2015[/highlight_text] Albertus Vande Zande, 87, of Waupun, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Marvin’s Manor in Waupun where he resided for the past two years.

[leftcolumn] Albertus was born August 18, 1927 in the town of Alto, the son of Albert and Jeanetta Duven Vande Zande. On September 21, 1950 he married Junice TerBeest. Following their marriage the couple farmed in the Waupun area until 1987 at which time they moved to Waupun. Albertus worked for Alto Co-op for 15 years and retired in 2002. He was a member of Alto Reformed Church where he served as a deacon and sang in its Men’s Chorus for 40 years.

Albertus is survived by his wife, Junice Vande Zande of Waupun; eight children: Betty (Steve) Hoffman of Randolph, Arlyn “Jake” (Olga) Vande Zande of Waupun, Larry (Donna) Kok of Alto, Duane Vande Zande of Waupun, Jerry (Dawn) Vande Zande of Waupun, Rick Vande Zande of Waupun, Kathy (Shawn) Brost of Fond du Lac, and Torri Vande Zande of Davenport, IA; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Pearl Vande Zande.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gordon and Milton Vande Zande; a sister, Muriel Vande Berg; and a great-granddaughter, Briana Meidam.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Visitation: [/highlight_text] Friends and relatives of Albertus Vande Zande may call on the family on Thursday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4:30-7 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Services: [/highlight_text] Funeral services for Albertus Vande Zande will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Alto Reformed Church in Alto with Rev. Ted Lindman officiating.
