[highlight_text] (1927 – 2012) [/highlight_text] Alice M. Gentry, 85, of Waupun, died Wednesday afternoon, September 12, 2012 at the Christian Living Center in Waupun.

[leftcolumn] Alice was born January 11, 1927 in the town of Borth, WI, the daughter of Ernst and Bertha Mielke Buhrow. Alice was employed for 23 years as a supervisor at Ripon Good Cookies in Ripon, retiring in 1989.

Alice is survived by her husband, Billy Gentry of Waupun; a son, Bruce Elvers and wife, Kathy Stehn of Waupun; a daughter, Mimi (John) Jorgenson of Caledonia, WI; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilhemina Wagner of Shawano, WI, and Ethel Belfeuil of Omro, WI; and a brother, Clifford (Shirley) Buhrow of Winter Park, FL.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
