Brock Everett Hoekstra, 23, of rural Waupun, went home unexpectedly to his Heavenly Father on November 21, 2016.
Brock was born December 25, 1992 in Waupun, the son of Dan and Debra Westhuis Hoekstra. Brock was a fun-loving, smart, goofy, young man. He overcame a hard time in his life with the love of his family, friends, and the good Lord. He refound his faith and praised the Lord everyday. Brock was loved by everyone he met, young and old. Brock loved to work on cars, four-wheelers, dirt bikes, and loved spending time with his grandpa John. He will truly be missed by so many family and friends near and far.
Brock is survived by his parents, Dan and Debra Hoekstra of rural Waupun; sister, Danielle (John) McKnight; brother, John Hoekstra (Destiny Pullam); nephews: Haydn Hoekstra and Emmett Pullam; paternal grandparents, John and Margaret Hoekstra; maternal grandparent, Beverly Westhuis; Brock’s fiance?e and love of his life, Brittany Miller and special little buddy, Jayden; and many aunts, uncles, counsins, and friends.
Brock was preceded in death by his grandpa, Milton Westhuis; uncle, Anthony Westhuis, and uncle, Loren Westhuis.
Visitation
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Services
Memorial services for Brock Hoekstra will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Ted Medema officiating.
