[highlight_text]1930-2015[/highlight_text] Delores Gruhn, 84, of Waupun, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at The Christian Home with her family by her side.

[leftcolumn] Delores was born October 12, 1930 in the town of Alto, the daughter of Henry and Jeanette Van Der Bosch Harmsen. She graduated from Waupun High School in 1948. On September 29, 1950 she married Richard “Dick” Gruhn. After graduating from high school, Delores worked for National Rivet in the office, The Waupun Reminder, and Marty’s Dairy. She also enjoyed selling Avon. The couple resided in Waupun most of their married lives. Together Delores and her husband owned and operated Gruhn Plumbing and Heating for 14 years before retiring. Delores liked camping, traveling, and spending winters in Arizona. She also enjoyed doing crafts, playing cards, playing the organ, and spending time with her family and friends. Delores was a member of Waupun United Methodist Church. Delores will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Delores is survived by a daughter, Terri (Byron) Streekstra of Waupun; a granddaughter, Angela (Aaron) Streblow of Waupun; a brother, Duane (Sue) Harmsen of Waupun; a brother-in-law, Gerald (Kathy) Gruhn of Three Lakes; an aunt, Marion Bennett-Kohls; three nieces: Tracy (John) Mecklenberg, Melissa Harmsen, and Mary Gruhn; a nephew, Tom Gruhn; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Richard, on July 14, 2012.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Visitation: [/highlight_text] Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 5-7 p.m. and on Friday at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Services: [/highlight_text] Funeral services for Delores Gruhn will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Chaplain Dennis Overlien officiating.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Burial: [/highlight_text] Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton.
