I am a friend of Sarah and Scott…and my son Cal has been a friend of Russel’s since they met in the 2nd grade.
Sarah and Family, I am so sincerly sorry to hear of your loss. It was always tremendously clear to me, in the affectionate and loving way you always talked about your folks, that you were blessed and lucky beyond words…and knew it.
Wishing you peace and wonderful memories.

I was well known in the DeYoung house during my high school years, as their babysitter. I even went on summer vacation with them when the children were little. I will always remember those years. I wish I could be at the memorial, but we will be out of town. Jim was a great man, and will be truly missed. The DeYoungs were a wonderful family. My sympathy to all of you. Karen Grant
Sarah,
You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. You and your family will be in my prayers.
