[highlight_text] (1935 – 2013) [/highlight_text] Fred “Fritz” Werth, 78, of Waupun, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam with his family at his side.

[leftcolumn] Fred was born September 13, 1935 in Lebanon, WI the son of Margaret Werth. On September 26, 1967 he married Dolores Degeler. They farmed in the Neosho area for 10 years and then in the Waupun area for 30 years. Fred was an avid fisherman, handyman, and loved his flower garden. He also loved being a grandpa.

Fred is survived by his three daughters, Michele Werth of Waupun, Mary Werth (Brad Johnston) of Waupun and Monica (Rob) Miller of Markesan, and Jade Chinery, his English daughter; grandchildren, Gavin, Hunter, Kynlee, and Ethan; three half sisters, Margaret, Marlene, and Darlene; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Werth; his mother, Margaret Werth; and step-father, Hermann Grimm.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Visitation: [/highlight_text] Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Services: [/highlight_text] Funeral services for Fred Werth will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake with Rev. David Nottling officiating.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Burial: [/highlight_text] Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
