[highlight_text] (1936 – 2012) [/highlight_text] Glenn Burg, 75, of Fox Lake, died peacefully at his home Jan. 3, 2012.

[leftcolumn] Glenn was born March 13, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of Orville and Marie Goetz Burg. On July 11, 1959, he married Shirley Mack at St. John’s Cathedral Church in Milwaukee. Glenn and Shirley loved to travel. Glenn was dedicated and enjoyed his career in marketing.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Shirley Burg of Fox Lake; four children, Douglas (Bridget) Burg of Florida, Paul (Elaine) Burg of Pennsylvania, Kristine (Jay) Wimmler of Wisconsin and Timothy (Nanci) of N.Y.; a sister, Sr. Jeanne Burg O.P. of Racine, Wis.; and 12 grandchildren.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter; a granddaughter and a grandson.

[rightcolumn] [highlight_text] Services: [/highlight_text] Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church in Fox Lake with the Rev. Michael Wild officiating.

Burial will take place at a later date at St. John’s the Baptist Parish Cemetery in Plymouth, Wis.

[highlight_text] Visitation: [/highlight_text] Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
