It is difficult to lose a loved one, but remembering Jane from many years ago, actually my parents lived across the street from her wonderful family when I was a young girl and one memory I shall not forget is they sometimes would call us over to use their telephone, as we did not have one in our home. Times were very different but neighbors were good to each other, as Jane and her husband were to my family. God Bless all of her family, I cannot attend the service, having health problems the last year or so………………..but you were a wonderful family to all who knew you then and I’m sure these days also. Shirley

My sympathy goes out to your families as you all deal with the passing of your mother, Jane. The entire community knew Jane, how she dedicated her life to helping others. She was the closest thing to a saint that I have ever known. In my younger years, when at her home, she always treated me as one of her own. You can be very proud of the life that she led.

    Dear Guelig Family,
I am the daughter of Al and Bernice Hendricks and we lived at 715 W. Brown St., Waupun. My sister, Linda Moore, called to tell me about your mother. You have our sympathy. As I talked with Linda we brought back so many treasured memories of your family. I was a bit older than all of you, but still remember being in your home and sharing time with you. I also worked as a play ground person at the West End Park and the Guelig children did come to the park. Your mother was so kind to my mother when she was ill and I remember her always thinking of others.
My husband, Larry, and I live in Dixon, il. We have 3 grown sons in St. Charles, Il., Niagara Falls, NY., and Geneseo, Il. and 7 grandchildren.
Our sincere sympathy to all of your family.
    Larry and Louise Reed

    Dear Guelig family members,

Our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your mother, Jane. You now have the comfort of wonderful memories and the knowledge that Jane is at rest. Our shared memories go way back to the eary days of both the Hidde and Guelig families living on the West End of Waupun, sharing the excitment of our first television, playing neighborhood games, competitive bridge marathons, and new baby announcements. With seven children in your family and six children in ours we kept the school and park systems busy. We cherish the time spent with all of you, and Jane will live on in our memories.
