Peter Arriens, 59, of Waupun, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
Peter was born October 24, 1958 in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of Fred and Johanna Kompel Arriens. Peter was a graduate of Waupun High School and was employed at National Rivet and Manufacturing in Waupun for 32 years from which he retired. Peter also tended bar at various locations. He recently resided in Neosho for the past eight years.
Peter is survived by a son, Max Arriens of Waupun; a daughter, Tabatha Arriens of Waukegan, IL; five grandchildren; a sister, Marlene Fairbank of Ripon; a niece; a nephew; and a very special friend, Matt Wagner.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Penny.
Services
Per Peter’s request there will not be a formal service.

I only met Pete on Mothers Day this year.
He reminded me of my dad. My folks also passed at 58 and 60 from illness.
The hourand a half I spent with him helping him shop was very uplifting.
He talked of his life in bits and I felt the pain he was going through.

Dennis and I have known Pete for many years.He was a good friend. When I heard he was sick with cancer I felt terrible. I am still praying for him. I felt so bad because I know he was in pain. Now the pain is over.He is with God and family at peace in
a better place.we Will miss him,but will not forget what a great person he was.
