Richard “Dick” Andrews, 87, of Waupun, died peacefully Sunday evening, February 12, 2017 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Dick was born August 31, 1929 to Ervin and Dorothy Minnis Gilbert Andrews. Dick joined the Army in 1948 and was a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne. On August 27, 1966 he was united in marriage to Virginia “Ginny” Mede. Dick was employed by Michels Pipeline as a welder for 31 years.
Dick is survived by his wife, Ginny; seven children: Michael, Sherry, Daun, Deborah, Luanne, Robert, and Elizabeth; and his sister, Pauline.
Dick was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Ganz; and a daughter Paula.

We were so sorry to hear about Dick’s passing. Our memories of Dick go back
to the hockey days of our sons. He was our son, Dave, coach in Dave’s formative
years of learning the game of hockey. Dick provided many hours of coaching, tieing
skate laces and driving to and from the games. Dick was always in good humor and very thoughtful
of the skaters and parents. We have very special memories of a very special man.
